Pastor Lloyd and his wife Nancy started Gulf to Lake Church on January 1st, 1995 with 12 people in attendance at their home. Three weeks later they had the first service to the community in a rented Banquet Hall in Meadowcrest and 192 people showed up. God has had His hand on the ministry from day one. Pastor Lloyd began as a Senior Pastor in April of 1981 in Colorado, but Crystal River is his home town. He has a D. Min. degree but will tell you that the best training was starting a church from scratch and making a lot of mistakes that was "covered" by the grace and mercy of God.

Pastor Steve was born in Jacksonville, Florida. He married his high school sweetheart, Laura. They have 2 boys, Christian and Cason. He graduated from the Baptist College of Florida with a BA in Christian Education in 2002. In 2008 he received a Master of Arts Leadership Degree from Liberty Theological Seminary. After serving at Gulf to Lake for 10 years as the Youth Pastor, he moved into the Associate Pastor Role in 2019. He continues to serve Gulf to Lake Church with joy and cannot wait to see what God has in store for Gulf to Lake Church. 

Nancy was born in Columbus, Ohio and has been a resident of Florida for over 30 years. She is the wife of the Senior Pastor and co-founder of Gulf to Lake Church. Nancy has a Bachelor of Music Education & Performance and has been in Full-time Music Ministry for over 30 years. Her scripture to live by is “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take!” (Prov. 3:5-6)

Richard was born Jackson MS. He been serving in student ministry since 2011 in Alabama, Mississippi and Florida. He graduated from the Baptist College of Florida with a bachelors in Ministry Studies and will complete his Masters in Theological Studies from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2025.  Richard has been married to his wife Kirstie Denson since 2012 and they have 3 children. (Serena, Elijah, and Luke) Richard loves everything sports related. He has a passion for students and families to change, due to the changing power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ!! 

Kerri currently serves as the Children’s Director at Gulf To Lake Church. She has been on staff with Gulf to Lake Church since 2005. Born in Wisconsin, she received her degree in Administration.  She is married to Jeff and has three children. She is privileged to coordinate Gulf To Lake Church Nursery, Pre-School, and Children’s Ministry. Creativity is her specialty! Loving children is her passion!

Chris was born in Charlotte, North Carolina. He has been a Floridian since age 13 and has a background in the financial industry. He has served as a volunteer leader for Gulf To Lake Church for many years and has been on staff with Gulf to Lake Church since 2010 as our Recreation Pastor. His passion is in directing and leading sports and recreation for all ages and now serves on Staff as the Director of Sports and Recreation.  He is married to Kelli and has three children.

Nicole was born in Barberton, Ohio and moved with her husband Erec to Citrus County over 20 years ago. Nicole has a degree and background in Early Childhood Education. She has 5 children and two grandchildren. Nicole looks forward to using her compassion for people
